The President of the National council for Women societies in Anambra State Lady Theresa Nnalue has joined well Meaning citizens in felicitating the government and people of Anambra State on the 32nd year anniversary of the state.
Speaking in an interview with the ABS in Awka, Lady Theresa who described the thirty second anniversary of Anambra State as one that calls for sober reflection charged the people of Anambra State to see its development as a collective responsibility.
Lady Theresa, commended the role of the founding fathers of Anambra State towards its creation on 27th August 1991 and called on the people of Anambra State to always embark on those programmes that will ensure peaceful coexistence and even development of Anambra State.
She also commended various administrations in Anambra State both military and civilian for their developmental strides in the state, especially the present administration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo for restoring people’s confidence in governance especially in the area of road infrastructure, Health Care delivery, Education, Agriculture among others, calling for its sustainability.
Lady Theresa applauded Governor Soludo for giving Women opportunity in his administration and assured him of total support of the state chapter of the National council for Women societies at all times, urging Anambra people to be alive to their civic responsibility in addition to taking full ownership of the state.
