The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim says the Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration will continue to deliver dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra.
Dr. Ibezim disclosed this during the launching of Solution Integrated Community Development Plan by Anambra East local government Area in Otuocha, the headquarters of the Council.
speaking during the event, Dr. Ibezim represented by the Deputy Chief Of Staff, to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, commended the Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra East Local Government Area, Dr. Anselm Onourah for his giant developmental strides in the area since he assumed office, describing him as one of the three best performing chairmen in the state.
Dr. Ibezim assured that the current administration in the state will continue to deliver dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra and tasked local government workers on productivity.
The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Honourable Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne, described the Anambra East Chairman as a man who is implementing the solution agenda to the grassroots and urged him to sustain the tempo.
The Anambra State Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Barrister Vin Ezeaka said he is highly impressed with the development already recorded in the council area by Dr. Onuorah.
Ealier in his welcome address, Dr. Onuorah revealed that the Solution Integrated Community Development Plan which was drawn from Governor Soludo’s Vision 2070 Development Plan, has seven area of focus which include heath, agriculture, education, security, environment, technology and infrastructure geared towards the development of Anambra East Local Government Area.
Dr. Onuorah explained that he has enrolled one thousand five hundred people into the State’s Health Insurance scheme and has the target of enrolling five thousand Ndi Anambra East Local Government Area.

The event was also used to launch Healthy Living Initiative of the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Nonye Soludo and attracted many dignitaries including the Executive Secretary, Anambra State Primary Health Development Agency, Pharmacist Chisom Uchem, the Managing Director of Anambra State Oxygen Production Plant, Mrs. Nwamaka Arinze, Igwe George Ekwealor of Umuoba Anam and other traditional rulers, government officials among others.
