Governor Chukwuma Soludo has called on those living in the riverine areas to start now to relocate upland where they will be safe to avoid being taken unawares by flood.

He said that it is not their fault that they are affected by floods, especially since the federal government has not built any dam yet, but it will be their fault if they experience any calamity as a result of not taking the right steps at the right time.

Governor Soludo called for togetherness and unity of purpose among Ndi Anambra saying that people should be conscious of the fact that a livable Anambra state is important.

The Governor called on every Onye Anambra to be involved in making the state a better place by contributing their own quota, no matter how little.
