The Headteacher of Central School Ekwulobia, Mrs Uzoma Umealaike has called on Anambra State government to come to their aid as the school buildings in the primary school premises have become faulty and risky.

Mrs Umealaike who spoke to the ABS Education Correspondent Queen Anigbogu, during monitoring of resumption of schools, said she was newly transferred to the school .

Confirming the situation, many of the teachers agreed that the buildings are faulty since they vibrate whenever pupils are jumping on them.

ABS observed that teachers and pupils were still using the classrooms in those buildings for teaching and learning as the headteacher said they had no alternative.

The Headteacher appealed to the government to urgently intervene to prevent avoidable tragedy.
