The President-General of Nri community in Anaocha Local Government Area, Chief Kelvin Obiegbunam, has said that the free education policy by Governor Chukwuma Soludo will guarantee fairness and equal access to education for everyone who desires to be in school.
In an interview with the ABS in Awka, Chief Obiegbunam described education as the cornerstone of success in any society, noting that it is the most powerful weapon one can take up in the fight against ignorance.
He commended Governor Soludo on the recent approval for recruitment of additional teachers in the state, and described the gesture as a right step in the right direction.
Chief Obiegbunam, who was one of the recipients of a chieftaincy title at the just-concluded Anaocha Festival 2023, explained that the Governor has been intentional about repositioning the various sectors of the economy, and advised all Ndi Anambra to work together towards ensuring that Governor Soludo’s vision of building a prosperous and livable homeland is realized.
