Unusual Praise Onitsha is set to unveil the third edition of the music concert, which targets to put youths at an advantage in contributing to the socio_ economic development of the society.

 

The musical programme birthed three years ago by the Catholic Dioceses of Lagos and Onitsha respectively has partnered outstanding Ministers of God in entertainment industry, showcasing their talents in reaching out for salvation of souls.

The event slated for tenth November, at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity church Onitsha, pronounced as “Sing a new song to the Lord”.

 

Speaking during the Unusual Praise Ambassadors launch in Onitsha to galvanize sponsorship for the event, a stakeholder and lead Ambassador, Sir Ikem Osanamkpo expressed delight with the role of the spiritual outing in creating an avenue for artistes to exhibit potentials in championing a course for evangelization.

He applauded the sacrifices of the organizers and noted that the entrepreneurial venture embarked upon as an internal component of the programme has unlocked opportunities, for skill advancement and offers real solutions to constraints encountered by unemployed youths, encouraging the ambassadors to rekindle consciousness as committed labourers in the vineyard.

The Co-ordinator Unusual Praise Onitsha, Ifeyinwa Onochie, in a remark noted that the venture aims at leveraging in realization of youth’s potential in keeping them off the streets and giving back to the society.

Addressing the Ambassadors, the Chairman organizing committee, Mrs. Tina Igbokwe appreciated them as strategic partners in actualizing the overall objectives, recounted the benefits of the programme, in furtherance of the gospel and human capital development Mrs. Igbokwe highlighted that promotion of entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, capacity building of over two hundred youths over the weekend was part of the activities earmarked upon for the event.

In their separate comments, some of the Ambassadors, including Chief Okwudili Otti, Dr Laureta Ukeje and former Governorship aspirant. Hon Val Ozigbo among others who spoke virtually, pledged their support for the sustainability of the event.
