It was a joyous moment for the people of Oroma-Etiti Anam, Umuikwu and Umudorah Anam communities; all in Anambra West Local Government Area, as they witnessed for the first time in their history an electric power supply in their areas.
The campaign of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, he promised the people of Anambra West Local Government Area that he will accord more priority to them, as well as other disadvantaged council areas in Anambra State, and the Governor is making true his promises.
Speaking to the ABS on the new development, a stakeholder in the area, Chief Ojukwu Obakasi, explained that their people are so happy that for the first time they can off and on light in their respective communities, and eulogized Governor Soludo for his compassionate nature.
Chief Obakasi, who is from Oroma Etiti Anam, which is among the communities that were connected to the national grid, added that Umuenwelum Anam will in less than a week time be energized too, as well as other communities in the local government area.
He noted that the Governor is doing well, and that the communities owe him all the support that his government deserves in implementing his good policies and programmes.
Chief Obakasi appealed to the people of the area to guard jealously all the public facilities and projects in their areas against vandals.
