The President of the World Christian International Ecumenical Center Worldwide, Right Reverend Ikechukwu Ekwemmuor, has revealed that the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, will be released before fifteenth December 2023.
Right Reverend Ekwemmour gave the revelation during a four-day National Ecumenical Prayer Conference which took place at the Anambra state Ecumenical Center, Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area.
The conference attracted notable Archbishops, Bishops and members of the clergy from different denominations from within and outside the state.
The annual prayer conference is an avenue for members of the Christendom to seek God’s divine intervention in order to enthrone peaceful co-existence and security of lives and property.
The conference is an initiative of Bishop Ekwemmour to present issues bothering Ndi Igbo to God and also thank him for the gift of life.
According to the convener, Bishop Ekwemmour, the prayer conference is scheduled across the four market days in Igbo land to unify every onye Igbo for positive turnaround, even as he made it clear that Ndi Igbo are waiting for the homecoming of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and assured that according to a vision given to him by God, the fifteenth December date is sacrosanct.
He pointed out that the prayer conference is evidence that Ndi Igbo worship one God and collectively engage Him in prayer for a common goal.
In a paper presentation, Professor Chukwuemeka Eze revealed that the hatred and marginalization against the Igbo dated back to the colonial masters who saw Ndi Igbo as challengers to their economic aspirations, hence, built the seed of discord against the Igbo people, pointing out that the recurring issues facing the Southeast can be overcome with love, faith in God and quality education for children and empowerment for youths.
Professor Eze listed courage, purity, endurance hard work and respect for elders as the qualities every child of Igbo extraction must possess to prepare and enable them for liberation.
During his ministration at the event, Pastor Jeremiah Ihenatuoha reminded Ndi Igbo that despite the long oppression they face, they should be committed and seek the face of God; who in the shortest time will liberate them.
At the event, Mrs. Agatha Egenti shared her experiences in the participation of the annual prayer conference, and called for more commitment in the things of God.
Ordination of evangelists, apostles and deaconesses formed the highpoints of the event.
