The National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa has assured Governor Chukwuma Soludo of completion of his eight-year tenure in office.

 

Speaking during a media chat with members of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Anambra State council, Barrister Ezeokenwa said the party would abide by principle of zoning to guarantee inclusiveness, equity and fairness.

 

According to him, his party has given Ndi Anambra quality representation since 2006, and has rewritten the history of governance in the state.

 

He said that so far, Governor Soludo has provided the people with unprecedented road infrastructure that will stand the test of time including Anam-Nzam-Ibaji road

 

He maintained that Anambra has maintained an A state in the country in all spheres of development, made possible by APGA government, highlighting various successes and laurels recorded by Anambra state school children and contingents all over the world.

 

He expressed desire of a youth succeeding the governor after expiration of his tenure, calling on youths in the state to join APGA as a moving train and the only party with national agenda, that is ready to set things right again if given the opportunity.

 

The APGA boss further expressed his wish to enthrone APGA government in several other states of the country, but regretted that the party was challenged by money-bag politics mentality, which he said was not APGA style of governance.

 

While felicitating with NUJ Anambra on their Press Week celebration, the APGA National Chairman commended them for mapping out time to celebrate journalism and journalists, noting that the profession, a noble one according to him should be given every accolade it deserves as the unifying factor of the nation.

 

He however stressed the need for factual reportage reminding them that it is their duty to promote peace, growth and progress and not to cause problem in the society through their reportage.
