To surmount marital challenges, the Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, has advised couples to see family building as a collective responsibility.
Dr Ibezim gave the advice at Emmaus House in Awka during wedding reception of one of his protocol officers, Chisom Echele, and his heartthrob, former Miss Chiamaka.
The Deputy Governor, who observed that marriage is easy when both partners know and play their respective roles in the family accordingly, said the single and young couples should not be scared of challenges that come with marriage, as according to him, marital challenges are surmountable.
Deputy Governor Ibezim encouraged Mr Chisom and his wife, Chiamaka, to always love one another, tackle their challenges collectively, and make God the head of their family in order to succeed in their marital journey.
Earlier in a remark, the new couple, whose joy knew no bounds, promised to love and cherish each other forever, even as they thanked their guests, especially the Deputy Governor, for sharing in their joy.
