The Metropolitan Archbishop and Ecclesiastical Province of Onitsha Archdiocese, Most Reverend Valerian Okeke, has charged the All Hallows Seminary Onitsha students, to uphold positive lifestyle .

 

Archbishop Okeke gave the charge while delivering a homily to mark this year’s feast of All Hallows held in the school premises.

The feast reports that it attracted the Bishop of Aguleri Diocese, Most Reverend Denis Isizoh, college of Priests, a former Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Professor Fidelis Okafor, Chairman of the Old Boys Association of the school, Mr Uche Okonkwo, among others.

Archbishop Okeke who commended the Management, staff and the seminarians for their doggedness in moving the school forward, appreciated them for their harmonious co-existence and called on them to pray always for them to actualize their goals.

 

The Rector of the seminary, Very Reverend Father Pascal Okonkwo expressed happiness for this year’s feast and thanked Archbishop Okeke for the visit, even as he extolled him for his developmental strides in Onitsha Archdiocese, noting that the visit will strengthen and encourage them in their faith.

In their various speeches, the Manager, Mater Amabilis Umuoji Secondary School, Reverend father Francis Onwuchulum, the Rector Spiritual year Akwu-Ukwu, Father Cele Umeh, the Catholic Women Organisation Director, Onitsha Archdiocese, Dr Ngozi Nwanosike, among others, expressed satisfaction for the event and called on the seminarians to live life worthy of emulation as future Priests.

The events featured administering of Sacrament of Confirmation to some candidates by Archbishop Okeke, thanksgiving, special rendition by Seminarians, Cultural and Masquerade displays, among others.
