Anambra State Association of Town Unions has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his proactive approach to youth empowerment.

 

The accolades came as a result of the governor’s laudable “One Youth two Skills” initiative, which has empowered five thousand youths within the state.

 

According to the National President of the Union, Barrister Titus Akpudo, under the program, Governor Soludo’s administration has made concerted efforts to provide training and skill development opportunities for thousands of youths, equipping them with valuable skills that will enable them to secure gainful employment and become entrepreneurs in their respective fields.

 

He recognized the long-term impact of the initiative, noting that it not only reduces unemployment but also enhances the state’s human capital, contributing to economic growth and prosperity.

 

The Association praised Governor Soludo’s visionary approach, emphasizing the importance of investing in the youth for the overall development of the state.

 

They praised Governor Soludo for his dedication to ensuring that the program is inclusive, with a focus on reaching youths in both urban and rural areas, adding that the approach reflects his understanding of the diverse needs of the youths and the importance of equitable access to opportunities.

 

The Association further commended the governor for his transparency in the initiative’s implementation, emphasizing accountability and efficient resource utilization, while highlighting that the success of the program was not only in the number of youths empowered but also in the program’s ability to transform lives and uplift communities.
