The Transition Committee Chairman of Awka North Local Government Area, Comrade ThankGod Anago has commended Governor, Chukwuma Soludo for the ongoing asphalting of Awba-Ofemili – Ugbenu – Ebenebe – Amansea road.
Comrade Anago made the commendation when he made a brief stopover on the road while on a working visit to schools in Awba-Ofemili community.
The Awka North Mayor who described the quality of the road infrastructure as topnotch, added that the communities being major food producers in the council area can now transport their agricultural produce to markets outside their towns.
He stated that before the inception of the administration of governor Soludo, the people of Awba-Ofemili axis were saddened as they appeared totally cut off from the rest of the state because of the inaccessibility of the road.
The Transition Committee Chairman while calling on the people of Awba- Ofemili to continue supporting the Governor Soludo’s government for remembering them with a quality road infrastructure which has eluded them for decades, assured the Governor of the unwavering support of the people of Awka North Local Government Area.
