The Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese Right Reverend Prosper Amah says there is no frustration for anybody that is in Christ Jesus.

In a sermon at saint Andrew’s Parish Akiliozizor during a service of confirmation and admission into Girls Guild and Women’s Guild, Bishop Amah maintained that being in Christ Jesus calls for total commitment, dedication to things of the Lord as well as reading the Holy scripture and practicing what is contained in it.

Bishop Amah regretted that many Christians who claim to be following Christ seem to be passengers in God’s work reminding such people that following Christ needs dedicated attention, sacrifices and perseverance.

He maintained that a good number of Christians are facing different challenges in life because they are not in Christ, adding that God sent His son Jesus Christ to be the advocate of those who believe and trust in Him.

Right Reverend Amah while describing sin as a major threat to the heavenly race of Christians, cautioned the faithful to desist from amalgamating their faith with Idolatry.

The Ogbaru Diocesan Bishop charged those that were admitted into the Women’s Guild during the service to be alive to their family responsibilities especially in the area of proper child upbringing and cautioned those admitted into Girls Guild against careless lifestyle which he said is capable of marring their future.

In a remark the Vicar of saint Andrew’s Parish Akiliozizor Venerable Edozie Onwunyi who thanked the Bishop for the visit, charged the faithful to always use their individual talents in working out their salvation.

The service which was attended by the president of the Women’s Ministry in Ogbaru Diocese Dr Uche Amah, Some Diocesan officials and uniformed Organizations featured a special prayer for the leadership of the church, those in political and elective positions, Anambra State and Nigerian.
