The Transition Committee Chairman of Awka North Local Government Area, Comrade ThankGod Anago has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the various palliatives his administration has rolled out so far to cushion the effects of subsidy removal on Ndi Anambra.
Comrade Anago made this commendation when he supervised the distribution of rice palliative meant for the fourteen wards in Awka North Local Government Area.
The rice palliative provided by Governor Soludo is part of his administration’s welfarist package to alleviate the sufferings of the poorest of the poor and most vulnerable in the society.
Comrade Anago described the action of the Governor as commendable and people-oriented and said it would go a long way to put smiles on faces of many Ndi Anambra.
The TC chairman assured that Ndi Awka North will continue to be grateful to Governor Soludo for his thoughtfulness, especially in difficult economic times occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy that brought so much hardship upon many families.
