The Archdeacon, Adazienu Archdeaconry and Vicar, Immanuel Anglican Church, Adazi-Enu, Venerable Jeoffrey Muolokwu says the word of God is life, heals and gives joy.

 

Venerable Muolokwu who stated this in a sermon during a service which is the second in advent with the theme ‘The Bible, God’s Cure for Life’s Ills” said that the word of God is complete and those who have it has fulfilment of all they needed in life and will operate under the presence of the Almighty.

He regretted that many carry bibles but do not have the word in them, urging Christians to get acquainted with the word of God which is salvation, open heaven and life.

 

The Parish Priest Saint John, Apostle and Evangelist, Agulu, Reverend Father James Amaeduna has urged Christians to live good lives and be prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Reverend Father Amefuna noted that as the readings and gospel called for preparation of the second coming and way of the Lord, they should form the habit of living according to precepts of Christ, champion peace, love and above all, live sinless lives in order to be with Christ in paradise when He comes.

The Chaplain of Chapel of Redemption UNIZIK Agulu Campus, Reverend Prince Chukwudum said that service to God is a call that all should surrender to, because he created and gave people talents in which they are expected to serve him with.

 

Reverend Chukwudum maintained that those who humble themselves, serve God with pure heart and dedication will immeasurably receive the blessings of God.

Meanwhile, Pastor Gab Alokwe of Cubicle of God Ministry, Real Estate, Awka, said that Christ is ever merciful and open hearted for all to come and tap from his glory.

 

Pastor Alokwe while speaking on the theme’ Open Heaven’ noted that it was all about energizing the people of God, making them know that Christ is the answer to whatever they are yearning for and his grace is sufficient to eliminate all dangers that confront them at face.

Also speaking during the programme , an evangelist in the ministry, Reverend Chidera Ezeme highlighted that heaven is open and is releasing blessings upon those who believe in Christ and cautioned members to live in a way that they will dwell with Christ on the last day.
