Anambra State Head of Service Barrister Theodora Igwegbe says hardworking and dedicated civil and public servants in the state government employ will always be rewarded for enhanced productivity.

 

Speaking at the Jerome Udorji State Secretariat complex in Awka during the 2023 public service day, Barrister Igwegbe maintained that there is a reward for dedication to duty and cautioned Workers against truancy and violation of civil service rules and regulations.

 

Anambra State Head of service who during the event congratulated some public servants who were honoured with meritorious service award maintained that the award calls for More service delivery.

 

She commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for series of Programmes aimed at improving the living standards of the people especially public and civil servants and called on Workers to reciprocate the gesture by being committed to their duties.

 

Barrister Igwegbe used the opportunity to task civil servants on being good Ambassadors of the state, wherever they are, especially during this Yuletide.

 

She used the opportunity to announce Various Programmes targeted at making the state workers to be ICT compliance, which according to her will aid their various functions in the office.
