A nongovernmental organization, Kaycoune Success Empowerment Initiative has provided free medical mission to the people of Akwaeze community, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra state.
The exercise which was in partnership with Lifted Hands Organization was held at Saint George’s Anglican church Akwaeze.
Kaycoune Success Empowerment Initiative is focused on training inventors discovered at its annual science exhibitions, which are designed to encourage innovation and development in various fields.
It equally offers workshops, seminars, training programs, provide support and resources for both innovation, and healthcare as a commendable endeavour that could have a significant positive impact on communities.
The founder of the organization, Nchedo Catherine Mbamalu-Chukwu, who spoke through Nurse Ngozi Ugochukwu, said that Kaycoune Success Empowerment Initiative was founded in 2018, and noted that many rural dwellers are living with one sickness or the other without knowing it, adding that the free medical outreach affords them the opportunity to come and examine themselves at no cost and get treated afterwards.
She revealed that what the organization was doing is to give back to the society in the way they can, adding that they had before now done the exercise in Awka and Onitsha respectively and advised people on the need for healthy living.
Speaking on behalf of Lifted Hands Organization that partnered Kaycoune Success for the free medical exercise, Nurse Ngozi Clement-Udokwu explained that the organization has been doing free medical mission for the past fifteen years in order to help the less privileged and vulnerable people in the society, and that they also do feeding and clothing of the poor as well.
Appreciating their benefactors, Mr. Ndubuisi Ibe and Mrs Chisom Meraa, prayed God to bless them for remembering such people at this critical time in the history of Nigeria.
