The Bishop on the Niger, the Right Reverend Owen Nwokolo has charged people to love God and their neighbours saying that the cardinal message of Christmas is love.
Bishop Nwokolo in his Christmas message to Ndi Anambra and Nigerians in general, said that Christ’s teaching holds the world together and without Christ, man’s existence is void hence the need to adhere to His teachings.
The Prelate who noted the challenges in the country, urged people to be relevant to their community, shun injustice and show compassion while he charged the affluent to provide social amenities, scholarship and quality service to the people as by so doing, there will be joy everywhere since Christmas is Joy and wished Ndi Anambra a happy Christmas and prosperous new year.
