An Industrialist, Chief Emma Okonkwo has described Awka Millennium City, as the Banana Island of the South-East geopolitical zone.
Chief Okonkwo stated this during a breakfast meeting and tour of state-of-the-art facilities at the estate by the subscribers of the city hosted by the management of the estate.
Awka Millennium City is a premium real estate development that is designed to redefine the concept of urban living within Awka, Anambra state with the developer envisioning a new residential layout which development will boost economic activity while increasing the quality of housing in the state capital territory.
According to Chief Okonkwo, the quality of infrastructure the promoters have delivered in the estate can only be compared to what is obtainable in similar premium estates in Lagos and Abuja.
While welcoming guests on behalf of the Chairman of M-P Infrastructure, Chief Clement Nwogbo, the Chief Executive Officer of Awka Millennium City, Mr Chimmy Ogbuebile revealed that despite the challenges of COVID-19 in 2020, and subsequent negative economic cycles, they have consistently developed and remained resilient on delivering their promises of giving the people of the South-East the first smart city.
While expressing the readiness of the estate for immediate occupancy, he pointed out that the breakfast meeting was an opportunity for networking, and for subscribers to themselves.

Awka Millennium City is a partnership between the Anambra state government and M-P Infrastructure.
