The President-General of Anambra state Market Amagmated Traders Association, ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anwuna has celebrated his one year in office at Community Secondary School Ora-Eri in Aguata Local Government Area.

 

Speaking during the event, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, represented by his Special Adviser on trade and commerce, Chief Evaristus Uba, Commended Chief Anwuna for being proactive and responsive to his duty, changing the ugly narrative experienced in all the markets within the state.

 

 

He highlighted the efforts put in place under his administration to include creation of ASMATA security agencies, fund creation for development, improvement of the fitness of the traders through Anambra Traders Sports among others.

 

The Member Representing Aguata constituency two, in the Anambra State House of Assembly Mr Tonny Mmuobike commended Chief Anwuna for his giant developmental strides in all the markets in Anambra State, especially in the area of improved Internally Generated Revenue.

 

The President-General of Ora-Eri Community, Evangelist ALex Abidosi, described Chief Anwuna as an embodiment of truth and game changer who has brought positive change in the community and called on the Government to come to their aid by awarding roads for construction in the area.

 

Responding, the President-General Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association ASMATA, Chief Anwuna called for the support of all market unions for improved revenue.
