The remains of late Lady Roseline Anyaorah of Uffa Village, Aguluizigbo, in Anaocha Council Area, has been laid to rest at her husband’s compound.

 

Lady Roseline passed away at the age of eighty, and was the mother of Chief Arinze Anyaorah.

Her funeral mass which took place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Aguluizigbo, was officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor.

 

Notable dignitaries, including Governor Chukwuma Soludo represented by his Principal Secretary Barrister Joachim Anaeto, former Anambra State governor Mr. Peter Obi and the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial district, Chief Victor Umeh, attended the event.

In his homily, Bishop Ezeokafor highlighted Lady Roseline’s lifelong dedication to supporting and caring for seminarians, commending her devotion to Catholic faith and commitment to serving God and humanity.

 

Bishop Ezeokafor urged Christians to prioritize heaven as their ultimate goal and to live righteous lives to inherit God’s everlasting kingdom.

Some Stakeholders from Nise and Nimo, including Chief Emeka Aghasili and Chief Chimezie Reginald respectively, expressed condolences to the bereaved family, encouraging them to find solace in the knowledge that Lady Roseline lived a virtuous life.

 

The children of the deceased, Chief Anyaorah, Mrs. Mary Aniekwe, and Mrs. Eziamaka Emegwalu, remembered their mother as a peace-loving and passionate woman.

 

The event was concluded with dance performances and condolence visits.
