Members of Elites Fitness Club International have been inaugurated with the unveiling of the club’s proposed estate in compliance with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s call on Ndi Anambra in the diaspora to extend their investment to Anambra State.
The ceremony, which took place in Awka, had it’s theme as “Reawakening The Igbo Aku Luo Uno Philosophy “.
It was a gathering of like-minds and their friends who came together to celebrate the progress of Elites Fitness Club International after two years it was formed.
Addressing the gathering, the President-General, Elites Fitness Club International, Mr Chimaobi Okoli explained that the club was formed to bring together people of like minds both home and in diaspora, especially from Anambra extraction to foster brotherly relationship among members; with the goal of helping members when need arises.
Mrs Okoli also disclosed that the non-political club strives to engage in impactful humanitarian services across the Southeast geopolitical zone, especially within Anambra State, which includes provision of supportive programmes that will educate, inspire and promote the wellbeing of Ndi Igbo, among others.
He said that their aim of going into Real Estate investment in Anambra State is to meet the housing needs of Ndi Anambra, and to fast track rapid development of the state.
Mr Okoli further said that the Club is in partnership with the Anambra State Ministry of Lands and Anambra State Housing Development Corporation to achieve their vision, adding that on completion, the estate will have amenities like solar powered energy, police post, accessible road, constant power supply, super market, among others.
In his remark, a player in Real Estate Industry, Honourable Nonso-Smart Okafor, commended Elites Fitness Club international for the initiative, which he said will address housing deficit in Anambra State, create wealth for the investors and the club, and called on Ndi Anambra in the diaspora to emulate members of the club.
The occasion also featured the recognition of Chiefs Tochukwu Ezisi and Arinze Okoli as the patrons of Elites Fitness Club International.
In a vote of thanks, one of the patrons, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi assured that he will discharge his duties to the club to the best of his ability
