The Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese Right Reverend Prosper Amah says God will never allow the decree of enemies on His children to come to pass.

 

In a sermon at Basilica of Saint James the great cathedral Atani during the re-dedication service for Members of Ogbaru Diocesan Christian Men’s fellowship and Anglican Boy’s Fellowship, Bishop Amah cautioned Christians against going back to the ancient path, reminding them of the need to jettison those behavior that will make them miss heaven.

The Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese Right Reverend Amah who reminded the faithful how the children of Israel were led by God especially during the period their ancestors were made slaves in the land of Egypt in which God delivered them from the hands of Egyptians pointed out that those who anchored their faith and trust in God will never be disappointed.

Right Reverend Amah who maintained that to serve God is a matter of conviction and revelation charged members of the Christian Men’s fellowship and that of Boys fellowship to re-dedicate themselves to the service of God reminding them that abundant blessings await those that serve the Lord with diligence and commitment.

The Bishop urged parents to see child upbringing as a collective responsibility warning mother’s against delegating their family role of child nursing and upbringing to the house helps which he said is always counterproductive.

 

Right Reverend Amah regretted the going back to idolatry by the youths who are the leaders of tomorrow and charged Ministers of God to rise to the occasion.

The service which was jointly facilitated by Venerable George Anekwe, Reverend Izuchukwu Ebeke and Reverend Jeremiah Ogugua featured special prayer for members of the Christian Men’s fellowship and Boy’s Fellowship, and General Thanksgiving.

The president of the Women’s Ministry in Ogbaru Diocese Dr Uche Amah, some Diocesan officials, uniformed Organizations among others attended the event.
