The member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Mr Peter Aniekwe has inaugurated a water borehole he built for the people of Nando, Anambra East Local Government Area.
Inaugurating the facility for use Mr Aniekwe who thanked the people of Nando for their support, noted that the federal constituency lacked a lot of things, and that potable water is one of the most critical things needed in the area.
He explained that water is part of the things the people on Nando is lacking, hence the construction of the borehole.
The lawmaker who revealed that he constructed another water borehole in Inoma, Anambra West Local Government Area, disclosed that he had before now distributed relief materials to his constituents and equally empowered those living with disability and promised continued dividends of democracy to the people of Anambra East and West federal constituency.
On his part, the President-General of Nando community, Chief Nkechikwulu Nwakor expressed appreciation for what the lawmaker has done for them in less than one year he assumed office, describing it as unprecedented and prayed God to bless him.
The Director-General of Peter Aniekwe Campaign Organization Sir. Anthony Aniakor and a stakeholder in Nando, Chief Ifeanyi Oguejiofor commended the legislator for his effective representation, urging him to sustain the momentum.
