The member representing Anambra West Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Patrick Obalum-Udoba has inspected the ten point nine-five-kilometer Mmiata Anam-Nzam road and called on the contractor handling the road project to ensure speedy completion of the road.

 

Speaking while inspecting the pace of work on the road, Honourable Udoba expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done by the contracting firm handling the project but noted that the work supposed to have exceeded the stage it is at the moment, and charged the contractor to double efforts to ensure its speedy completion.

 

The legislator who said that Mmiata Anam-Nzam road is one of the most important and critical road projects being constructed by the Governor Chukwuma Soludo-led administration because of its strategic nature, said that the road when completed will boost the socioeconomic development of the agrarian people of Anambra West and also aid ease evacuation of farm produce.

 

According to Honourable Udoba who is the Chairman, Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, the ten point nine-five-kilometer road when completed will pave way for the local government workers to access their secretariat at Nzam, noting that Nzam is the only local government headquarters in Nigeria that could not be reached by road and commended Governor Soludo for the project, calling on his constituents to take ownership of the project and other projects being cited in the area by the current administration in the state for the overall good of the people.

 

Honourable Udoba urged Ndi Anambra west to continue with their support for the Soludo’s government as it has the interest of Ndi Anambra at heart and promised that he will continue to deliver dividends of democracy to his constituency.
