Beneficiaries of the “One Youth, Two Skills” Solution Initiative of the Anambra State government who received seed grants to kick-off the various skills of the programme have been advised to utilize the fund given to them judiciously.

 

Speaking to the ABS in Ogidi, the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area, Chief Chuksbrown Igboanua said that it is imperative to remind the beneficiaries that the money giving to them by the Anambra state government is not for merriment, rather it is meant to add value to their lives.

 

Chief Igboanua who commended Governor Soludo for conceptualizing the idea of training and empowering five thousand youths in various skills in the state, noted that it is only when the beneficiaries of the exercise make good use of the money given to them, will the noble objective of the government be realized.

 

According to the Idemili North Mayor, the government spent huge billions of naira in the training and empowerment of the youths, and as such, it behooves on the beneficiaries to pay Governor Soludo back with success stories afterwards.

 

The Transition Committee Chairman who praised the Governor for many giants strides his administration has achieved in less than two years in office, opined that if the beneficiaries of the programme maximally and effectively utilize the money given to them, it will drastically reduce unemployment in the state, as well as improve the revenue base of Anambra state.

 

He called on other youths to embrace various youth’s friendly policies and programmes of the Soludo led administration which are ongoing in the state to become self-reliant.
