Anambra State Governor’s wife, Nonye Soludo, has offered nutritional tips on how to make healthy smoothies.

 

In a new release on her official YouTube channel, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, the Governor’s wife explained that contrary to common practice of blending varieties of fruits, healthy smoothie should incorporate mostly vegetables and less fruits.

 

She noted that nutrition wise, adding multiple fruits for one shake is wrong, explaining that healthy smoothies should have ninety percent vegetables and ten per cent fruits to serve as sweeteners.

 

Mrs. Soludo, who is a practicing nutritionist, further stressed the need to stick to best hygiene practice while making household juice, and to also use fruits and vegetables that are organically bred.

 

The Governor’s wife also stated that smoothies should not be produced with milk or any other canned product, adding that everything about the drink must be natural and fresh.

 

The Healthy Living YouTube channel offers tips on how to make several household foods in the most nutritious way, without artificial additives.

 

The Anambra Governor’s wife also uses the channel to teach subscribers the steps to cooking healthy traditional delicacies that seem to have been abandoned.
