The newly constituted caretaker committee members for the new auto spare parts market Nkpor have been inaugurated by the Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association ASMATA.

 

The inaugural ceremony was preceded by a holy mass officiated by Reverend Father Augustine Nnaemeka.

 

 

Addressing the traders, the President-General of Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association Chief Humphrey Anuna expressed joy at the turnout of traders at the inaugural ceremony and attributed it to clear evidence that the traders are happy with their newly constituted caretaker leaders.

 

He thanked them for their efforts during the trial period in the market and enjoined them to be law-abiding, rally around their leaders, and give them support and encouragement.

 

 

Chief Anuna commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his concern and efforts in bringing lasting peace in all the markets across the State especially New Auto spare parts Nkpor, and charged the new market leaders to live up to expectations.

 

Responding after the inauguration, the new caretaker committee Chairman Chief Stephen Ofoleh thanked the Governor for finding him and his members worthy of the responsibility and promised to make him proud by keying into his policies aimed at changing the face of Anambra market for the better.

 

Some of the newly constituted caretaker leaders, while expressing their readiness to serve, promised to abide by the rules and policies of the State Government.

 

The new caretaker Chairman later inspected some of the dilapidated roads and toilet facilities in the Market.

 

The inauguration featured oath of allegiance and handover of the market rules and regulatory documents to the Chairman.
