A twenty-one-member executive team of Solution Youth Movement of Nigeria, SYMON, Anaocha Local Government Area Chapter has been inaugurated.

 

The inaugural ceremony took place at the local government headquarters, Neni.

 

Themovement represents the aspirations of youths in the region and aimed at promoting good governance, transparency, accountability, and effective leadership.

The Solution Youth movement also aims to empower young people to participate actively in the decision-making processes that shape their future, drive positive change and foster a more inclusive and responsive governance system in Anaocha.

 

Addressing the executives, the National Convener of the movement and Anambra State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Izuchukwu Okafor, emphasized that the movements ideologies is to equip and reorient youths with the essential traits necessary for survival and to follow in the footsteps of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in ensuring good governance.

Highlighting that the movement transcends mere political support, the Commissioner underscored the Governor’s profound investment in youths and urged the new executive to advocate for the ideals of good governance.

 

On their parts, the State Coordinator of the movement, Mr. Obinna Nwankwo and Anaocha Local Government Area Coordinator, Comrade Rome Ibekwe, affirmed the movement’s dedication to upholding principles of integrity, transparency, and good governance, aligning with the Governor’s vision of a more prosperous and equitable society.

In their various remarks, the Chairman of Anambra State Sports Development Commission, Mr. Patrick Onyedum, the Managing Director of Anambra State Water Resources, Chief Ikeobi Ejiofor, and the Anaocha Local Government Chairman of the All Progressives’ Grand Alliance, Chief Anthony Ugorji, encouraged support for the movement, as a pivotal initiative for the state’s youth, fostering restructuring and development.

 

The Founder of Ochendo Vanguard for Soludo, Chief Inno-Posh Chikezie, urged the newly inaugurated executives to champion good governance through SYMON, urging youth participation irrespective of political affiliations, in order to nurture accountable individuals capable of facing reality.

The inauguration ceremony presided over by Mr Onyedum was attended by the Principal Secretary to Governor Soludo, Barrister Joachin Anaeto represented by Sir Peter Ewenike, alongside other dignitaries.
