Governor Chukwuma Soludo says the Public-Private-Community-Partnership model is the fastest way of growing the State in the short term.
Governor Soludo stated this during the inauguration of twenty-one asphalted roads in Adazi Ani, Anaocha Local Government Area, totaling fourteen-point-six-two kilometers, built by Chief Chinedu Madubuko who is an indigene of the Community.
The Governor who stressed that since inception, his government has been working for strategic partnerships and collaborations, for rapid development of Anambra State.
Governor Soludo who revealed that a greater percentage of the resources that will be used to develop Anambra State are in the pockets of private individuals and community members, stating that government cannot embark on development work alone.
While commending Chief Madubuko, the Governor called on more resourceful individuals to emulate his gesture and contribute their quota in developing the homestead, promising to continue to do his possible best to create the enabling environment, among other efforts.
Governor Soludo emphasized that the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, is the platform for sustainable development in Anambra state, pointing out that one will be remembered for the good deeds and called for concerted efforts in keeping the environment clean.
On his part, Chief Madubuko commended the Governor for promoting the concept of Public-Private-Community-Partnership which people are already keying into, stating that the Governor’s presence for the inauguration of the project further demonstrates his commitment to encouraging strategic partnerships.
He revealed that the project will foster economic growth, pave way for enhanced connectivity and prosperity in the community, expressing optimism that the roads will serve as a lasting legacy, inspiring the people of Adazi Ani to join the Public-Private-Community-Partnership being driven by the Governor.
