The transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha local government area Chief Gerald Ozoh says the inclusion of the National leader of the All progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State in the National Economic advisory council is an indication that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to transforming the nation’s economy.

 

Speaking to Newsmen in his office at Neni, Chief Ozoh maintained that with the assemblage of economic experts as members of the National advisory council, President Tinubu has once again proved that he is a detribalized Nigerian and called on the people to continue with their support and prayers to his administration.

 

He described governance as a Herculean task adding that with the appointment of Governor Chukwuma Soludo into the advisory council by the president there is hope that the present economic challenges facing the country will soon be over.

 

Chief Ozoh recalled how Professor Chukwuma Soludo revived the nation’s ailing commercial Banks through recapitalization when he was the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, saying that Professor Chukwuma Soludo will bring to bear, his wealth of experience in Economic planning as a member of the National Economic advisory council.

 

The Anaocha local government area Transition Committee Chairman, Chief Ozoh while describing Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a prudent manager of resources called on Nigerians to learn how to make sacrifices to ensure rapid growth of the Nation’s economy.

 

He described Nigeria as a country that is richly blessed with both human and natural resources and called for proper harnessing of these resources in the Interest of all the six geopolitical Zones of the country.

 

Chief Ozoh called on the federal government to create conducive business environment for local industries in order to increase production for both domestic consumption and exports, ultimately helping to stabilize the Naira through foreign exchange.
