The Transition Committee Chairman of Ekwusigo Local Government Area, Mr Chimezie Obi, has described the All progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, as a political party with clear ideology.

Speaking to newsmen in his office at Ozubulu, Mr Obi said that all the programmes and policies of various governments of the APGA in Anambra State are clear indications that the party is committed to improving the living standards of the people.

He said that series of road construction and reconstruction going on in different parts of Anambra State, as well as other reforms being carried out in all the sectors of the State economy, especially health, education, among others, are pointers that the present APGA government under Governor Chukwuma Soludo is committed to transforming the state and called on the people of Anambra State to be alive to their responsibilities, in addition to sustaining support and praying for the Soludo administration to enable it continue to deliver on its mandate.

He charged the people to always protect government facilities in their various areas against vandalization, urging them to always pay their tax and approved levies promptly to enable the government continue to serve them better.

On the recent appointment of the national leader of APGA, Governor Soludo, as a member of the National Economic Advisory Council by President Bola Tinubu, Mr Obi described it as well deserved, in view of the Governor’s milestone in economic revival, and recalled how he revived ailing Commercial Banks through recapitalization when he was the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

He expressed optimism that with Governor Soludo as a member of the National Economic Advisory Council, the present economic challenges facing the Nigerian nation will soon be over.

Mr Obi called on Nigerians to always learn how to make sacrifices for enhanced development of the country, reminding them of the need to remember those in authority in their prayers, describing leadership as a herculean task.
