The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Mr. TonyCollins Nwabunwanne has extolled the All for Women Nigeria, A-WIN, for its mission to protect and preserve the dignity of women.

Mr. Nwabunwanne who spoke when he received a delegation of A-WIN in his office at the Government House, Awka, also commended them for the initiative to celebrate ordinary Anambra Women, especially the downtrodden in the society during the International Women’s Day celebration.

Mr. Nwabunwanne described women as a powerful tool for positive change and appreciated A-WIN for rising to the challenge of caring, fighting and believing in themselves as according to him, women need all the encouragement and support to succeed in their responsibilities.

While asking for the sustenance of the tempo in order to complement the effort of the present administration and the Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, the Commissioner promised the group full support and partnership of the Ministry.

The president of A-WIN, Mrs. Stella Igboka extolled the doggedness of Mr. Nwabunwanne in ensuring lasting peace in various communities.
