The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area, Chief Chuks-Brown Igboanua, says the recent appointment of Governor Soludo into the economic team of President Bola Tinubu is a right step in the right direction.
Chief Igboanua, who stated this while interacting with newsmen in Ogidi, described the move as putting a round peg in a round hole.
According to the Idemili North mayor, the move shows that President Tinubu is interested in saving the economy of the country, as he said that Governor Soludo is an expert when it comes to economic matters.
He said that the Governor is capable of giving quality advice that would turn the economy of the country within a short period and return the country to its pride of place in the comity of nations.
Chief Igboanua congratulated the Governor and reminded him that Ndi Anambra are waiting for him to go and make the state proud as usual, as he demonstrated when he was the Central Bank Nigeria, CBN, Governor.
