Similarly people will be easily attracted to an open boot of a car loaded with Naira and Dollars but may no spare a second glance at open boot of car loaded with volumes of Books. The books loaded in the boot are wealth which are greater than the Naira and Dollars in the boot of the car. The Naira and Dollars are the physical and immediate wealth but the books are the physical but future and everlasting wealth.
The unbridled quest for money and wealth have drawn away attention of youths from reading not knowing that they can create wealth from the knowledge and wisdom accumulate from books. The world of books is perhaps one of the most remarkable creation of man which is quite enduring because monuments and edifice fall, nations perish, civilization grow old and phase out. In the world of books, there are volumes of wisdom that live on as young as at the time they were written, still sharing mindset and knowledge of those that have gone in the world beyond many centuries ago.
