The immediate past member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, Honourable Chinedu Obidigwe says Governor Chukwuma Soludo has innovatively touched all the critical sectors of the state economy in the last two years of his administration.

 

Honourable Obidigwe who made the observation while speaking to the ABS in Awka, noted that Governor Soludo has within two years in office, transformed the Anambra’s infrastructural landscape, touching all sectors simultaneously by giving them the attention they desired.

 

The former federal lawmaker further maintained that the achievements of Governor Soludo, even in the face of economic hardship in Nigeria is both unimaginable and unprecedented, which needs commendation by all people of goodwill.

 

Honourable Obidigwe who is the founder and national president of United Anambra Youths Assembly (U-AYA) and United Anambra Women Assembly (U-AWA) added that the leadership qualities found in Governor Soludo is something that must be commended and appreciated by all, irrespective of political affiliations or divides.

 

He extolled the Governor and his team for the construction and ongoing construction of over four hundred and fifty kilometers of roads across the state, especially roads in the hinterlands that will boost the economic fortunes of the state, recruitment of teachers and healthcare workers, youth empowerment among others as some of the gigantic achievements of the current administration in the State.

 

Honourable Obidigwe described the recent distribution of two thousand laptop computers to headteachers and principals as a step towards enhancing a smart educational sector that was envisaged by Governor Soludo and called on Ndi Anambra to utilize the stage government’s free basic education policy to enroll their children and wards in school, and commended the Governor for the revitalization of the Anambra State Water scheme which had been abandoned for many years, as residents of the state now enjoy pipe borne water, describing it as a game changer.

 

According to the former federal lawmaker, what the Soludo administration needs now is the support and cooperation of every Onye Anambra and other residents of the state for him to make Anambra, a livable and prosperous homeland.
