The leadership of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his remarkable achievements in office in the last two years.

Chairman of the party in the Local Government Area, Honourable James Onwuka, and the Secretary, Chief Amaechi Obiesili, in a joint statement issued by Obinna Odogwu, described Soludo as a ‘talk and do’ governor who has so far honoured his campaign promises to Ndị Anambra through his careful and strategic implementation of his 2021 campaign manifesto.

The duo said that the completion of about two hundred and fifty kilometers of road in various parts of the state out of over four hundred kilometers awarded by Governor Soludo upon assumption of office has made life easier for the people as it now took shorter time to move from one destination to another within the state unlike before.

The party leaders also commended the governor for ending the era of schools without teachers in the state through the employment of over five thousand teachers and the ongoing recruitment of about three thousand more into the state’s primary and secondary schools’ system.

They also said that the recruitment of health professionals including Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists and others has helped in repositioning the state’s health sector.

The party leaders however urged the governor not to relent in the efforts he is making to place Anambra State on the world map, saying that the people of Awka North are solidly behind him.
