A Chieftain of the All progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Boniface Egbutu says Governor Chukwuma Soludo has restored people’s confidence in governance through purposeful leadership.
Speaking to the ABS on the two years in office of Governor Soludo, Chief Egbutu said that all the people oriented Programmes and policies of the Governor shows that he is committed to improving the living standards of the people of Anambra State.
He described the huge investments being made by Professor Chukwuma Soludo in the Education sector, especially the distribution of laptop computers to Head teachers and principals of schools across the state, employment of five thousand teachers and ongoing move to employ another three thousand, as well as other teaching aids provided by the government as indications that Professor Chukwuma Soludo is committed to human capital development.
Chief Egbutu who is also a community leader at Nise, in Awka South Local Government Area, extolled the giant strides of Governor Soludo in other sectors of the economy including Health where he is providing effective and affordable health care services to the people with the employment of over three hundred health personnel, revamping of all primary Health Care centres in the three hundred and twenty six electoral wards across the state and improved facilities in General Hospitals among other interventions in the Health sector.
According to Chief Egbutu, the construction of roads across the state by the Soludo administration will apart from enhancing free human and vehicular movements, boost businesses.
He maintained that the achievements of Governor Soludo within two years are legion, and urged the people of Anambra State to continue with their support and prayers to his administration to enable him continue to deliver on his mandate.
Chief Egbutu commended Governor Soludo for his avowed commitment to transforming Awka into liveable, prosperous and green capital city, and reminded the people of the need to be alive to their responsibility especially in the area of prompt payment of tax and approved levies in addition to protecting government facilities built by tax payers money against vandalization.
