The Anambra State Commissioner for Education Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh says, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has provided education without difficulties for the people of the State.

 

Speaking on the impact of Governor Soludo’s policies in Education, Professor Chuma-Udeh disclosed that the administration of Governor Soludo’s employment of five thousand teachers reduced the rate of out of school children from thirty-two-point four percent, in 2021-to-fifteen-point two percent in 2022 and that the rate was further dropped in 2023-to-two-point nine percent with the declaration of free education in Anambra State.

 

Commissioner Chuma-Udeh stated that while the employment of teachers brought to an end the era of schools without teachers, the free education declaration made Anambra State a destination for acquisition of education without hassles in the South-East.

 

She stated that the levies were summarily abolished thereby bringing education to the door steps of every individual in the State.
