As Christians in Anambra State and Nigeria join others in the Christendom all over the world to celebrate this year’s Easter, the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has extended his congratulatory greetings to all Nigerians, praying that this season of renewal will bring hope, joy, and blessings of peace to every family and the nation.

 

In his goodwill message, Governor Soludo affirms that Easter is a time of reflection and transformation, reminding Christians of the profound lessons of love, selflessness, sacrifice, resilience, compassion and renewal embodied by Jesus Christ.

 

In a release signed by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Christian Aburime noted that Governor explained that Easter symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair, and love over fear to draw inspiration from the teachings of Christ to foster unity, compassion, and goodwill in the communities and Nigeria and called on Ndi Anambra and all Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the noble task of nation-building.

 

Governor Soludo asked Nigerians to create a Nigeria where justice, equality, and prosperity will flourish and embrace the virtues of honesty, integrity and solidarity for a brighter future.

 

He wants Nigerians to harness the spirit of Easter to uplift the vulnerable, empower the marginalized and build bridges of understanding and reconciliation to overcome the present challenges in the country.

 

The Governor further reassures of his stronger commitment to leading Anambra State on a path of renewal, progress and transformation, serving with empathy, selflessness, sacrifice and accountability.
