The Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, Prince Neville Uchendu, has said that he will continue to domesticate all the development initiatives of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in Orumba South to enable people of the area to feel the impact of the good administration of the Governor.

 

Speaking at Umunze, the headquarters of Orumba South Local Government Area, when he launched “Operation Keep Umunze Clean” at the Nkwor market, Prince Uchendu extolled the bold initiatives of Governor Soludo in making Anambra a livable, healthy and prosperous homeland through environmental cleanliness and regeneration.

The Orumba South Council boss, who donated assorted aprons and other materials for the teeming people who trooped out for the sanitation exercise, declared that Umunze and its environs must be clean at all times, adding that the sanitation exercise, which he personally participated in will be strictly observed every month.

He called on well-meaning citizens of Umunze and other neighbouring communities to contribute towards making Umunze the cleanest local government headquarters in the state, while urging other communities in Orumba South to always keep their communities clean, in line with Governor Soludo’s efforts to sustain a healthy and clean Anambra State.

Prince Uchendu enjoined Ndi Umunze and the entire people of Orumba South to continue to give maximum support to Governor Soludo, in appreciation for the numerous development projects his government has done in the council area.

 

In his remarks, the Chairman of the Umunze Environmental Sanitation Committee, Chief Ikechukwu Okoli, expressed gratitude to Prince Uchendu for his sanitation initiative in Orumba South, and urged the people of Umunze to give him the necessary support.
