The Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism Comrade Don Onyenji has commiserated with the family of late Amaechi Muonagor over the death of the late Veteran Nollywood actor.

 

Commissioner Onyenji described the incident as unfortunate, saying that he died when his talent is mostly needed in lightening the mood of people through the film industry.

 

He recalled how the wife of Anambra State Governor Mrs Nonye Soludo visited the late veteran actor in the hospital and noted that Anambra State Government supported him.

 

While commiserating with the family, the commissioner prayed for the repose of the deceased and maintained that the empathy from friends and well-wishers of the family would bring succor to the family.

 

Commissioner Onyenji also said that Governor Soludo is interested in promoting and boosting the entertainment industry in Anambra State.

 

He said that with the cooperation of government and Ndi Anambra, ANAWOOD will blossom.

 

The commissioner called on Ndi Anambra who have interest in movie and acting to key in and utilize the opportunity provided by ANAWOOD to actualize their potentials as well as boost the economy of the state.

 

He further called on Ndi Anambra in other parts of the world to invest in Anambra movie industry, ANAWOOD.
