The Anambra State Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engineer Julius Chukwuemeka says Governor Chukwuma Soludohas recorded tremendous achievements in the last twenty-four months of his administration.
Engineer Chukwuemeka who disclosed this while speaking to the ABS in Awka, noted that what the current administration in the state has done in the areas of road constructions, healthcare services, youth empowerment, teachers and healthcare recruitments, free basic education, free antenatal and delivery among others are firsts of its kinds in Nigeria.
The Commissioner explained that the latest statistics which showed that Anambra has the lowest out of school children in the whole Nigeria, is an unmatchable feat of the Governor Soludo’s administration which must be commended by Ndci Anambra, irrespective of party affiliations.
According to the Commissioner, the revitalization of pipe borne water in the state after about two decades of non-availability of water, is another testament that the government in the state has the interest of Ndi Anambra at heart.
He maintained that the government will continue to reticulate the water supply for it to get to most parts of the state for the benefit and betterment of Ndi Anambra and appealed to the citizenry to ensure the safety and protection of all the government facilities in their various towns and communities.
Engineer Chukwuemeka further explained that the Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration will continue to connect communities in the state who have no electricity to the national grid, as well as expansion of the current solar powered street lights to reach the various towns and communities in the state.
The Power and Water Resources Commissioner further appealed to Ndi Anambra to keep praying and supporting the current government for it to fully implement all its lofty policies and programmes for a livable, safe and prosperous homeland.
