The immediate past member representing Anambra East and West federal constituency at the nineth National Assembly, Honourable Chinedu Obidigwe has called on traditional rulers in the state to ensure peaceful coexistence among communities.
Honourable Obidigwe who stated this during the ovala festival of Igwe Johnson Mbanefo of Mkpunando-Otu Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area, while addressing the audience preached peace, unity and love among the various communities in Anambra East and West federal constituency and the traditional rulers in particular, adding that no meaningful development will take place in an atmosphere of rancour and envy.
The former federal Lawmaker noted that the Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration needs an unalloyed support of the traditional institutions across the State, and urged the traditional rulers to always support the activities of the All Progressives Grand Alliance government in the state and ensure that various government’s infrastructure in their respective communities are well protected.
He also urged stakeholders, Ndi Anambra and other residents of the state to double their support to the Soludo administration, as according to him, the current administration in the state under Governor Soludo has done fantastically well in all ramifications.
Honourable Obidigwe appealed to political gladiators in Anambra to stop overheating the politic through frivolous and unfounded allegations and press releases, saying that Ndi Anambra are happy with the achievements of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s government which are evident in all sectors of the state economy and are equally verifiable.
Present during the event were, the traditional ruler of Aguleri, Igwe Michael Idigo, that of Enugu Otu Aguleri, Igwe Emmanuel Ejimofor, his Umuoba Anam counterpart, Igwe George Obalum-Ekwealor among others.
