One thousand five hundred persons in Idemili North Local Government Area and environs have benefited from a free medical outreach sponsored by Hello International, a non-governmental organization founded by Dr Nkiruka Agbazue.
The medical outreach took place at Idemili North Local Government Secretariat in Ogidi.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area, Mr Chuks-Brown Igboanua in a remark, thanked Dr Agbazue for bringing clear vision to their door steps by introducing the free medical outreach.
Mr Igboanua called on affluent Ndi Anambra to support the government in developing the state.
Dr Agbazue represented by Mrs Maureen Okafor said that she was overwhelmed with the success achieved so far as the massive turn out by residents of Ogidi and environs was encouraging.
A member of the organizing committee, Mr Uche Agbazue extolled the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili North Local Government Area for giving them an enabling environment to accomplish their mission.
Mr Agbazue enumerated the services rendered to include, comprehensive eye check, blood pressure and sugar level tests, issuance of eye glasses and drugs, and called on beneficiaries to heed to the advise given to them and take their drugs as prescribed.
The leader of the medical team, Reverend Sister Mary Ubajaka who is also a consultant ophthalmologist and Chief Medical Director of Immaculate Heart of Mary Specialist Hospital, Nkpor, commended Dr. Agbazue for embarking on such transformative venture and urged the beneficiaries to adhere to instructions, maintain body hygiene and consume more of fruits and vegetables.
The Provost College of Nursing Alor, Mrs Goodness Ogbonna described Dr Agbazue as a visionary individual and prayed God to enlarge her coast.
Some of the beneficiaries, Mrs Favour Chidobelu, Mr Okay Iloeze and Mrs Glad Ofomee appreciated their benefactor and prayed God to bless her immensely.
