A recipient of two Chieftaincy titles “Dike Eji Ejemna” and “Ebekuo Dike” Chief Nweke was also a peacemaker, and valuable asset to Awka community and in quality service delivery.
The late Chief Emma Nweke, a father who loved his family married his beloved wife, Nonye in 1986 and the marriage was blessed with four children – two boys and two girls. He is also a grandfather to two lovely children.
Emma Nweke Awka Community loves you, but God loved you more. Infact through your death Heaven has gained and the Earth has lost because the death of a righteous man is always a heavenly gain.
Nze One as he was fondly called even in death lives on in the lives he touched, as he will forever be remembered as a beacon of hope and a pillar of his community.
Today, ninth May 2024 vigil at his compound in Umuike, Awka by five pm, Tomorrow, Friday tenth May 2024, burial service at his home in Umuike, Awka by ten am, to be followed by interment and condolences. Saturday eleventh May, 2024 condolences continue. While on Sunday twelfth May, 2024 will be Thanksgiving service at Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church, Umuike, Awka by nine am.
