The Anambra State Commissioner for Special Duties, Honourable Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche has described the Champion Newspaper Governor of the Year Award on Infrastructure and Rural Development won by Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a call on him to continue to shatter more glass ceilings in the delivery of democracy dividends to Ndị Anambra.

The Commissioner stated this in a congratulatory message to the Governor on Sunday after Governor Soludo who was represented by his deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim received the award in Lagos on Saturday night.

Commissioner Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche stated that Governor Soludo has been walking the talk and fulfilling every promise he made to Ndị Anambra and said the award is soothing as a recognition of honest hardwork and invitation to do more.

She reeled out some of the major infrastructural projects being delivered by the Solution administration including the construction of over four hundred-kilometers of roads across the twenty-one Local Government Areas, the Solution Fun City, the New Government House, the Pharmaceutical Hub Ogboji, the Coordinated Drug Wholesale Centre, Oba, Anambra Mixed-Use Industrial City and many others as legacy projects that will transform the face and economy of Anambra State when completed.

Commissioner Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche, therefore, charged residents of the state to continue to support the Governor in his relentless quest to change the fortunes of the state and make it a liveable and prosperous homeland and Ndị Anambra in the diaspora to heed to the Governor’s call and bring their investments home.
