The Ekwulobia flyover and the connecting roads to communities around the area are to be completed before the December 2024 deadline.

 

The Project manager, AG Vision construction company, the firm handling the project announced this while answering questions from Works Correspondent Ngozi Obileri at the site where it was observed that the firm has cast up to eighty percent of the beams while more are ongoing and almost all the abortments have been cast and hung with work was on going on others .

ABS also noticed that a stone base has been laid on the connecting roads to Nanka, Uga and Isuofia with the center barrier in place on the roads, except for Oko Road where earthwork is still ongoing.

 

On the Bus Terminal site, heavy duty equipment was seen working on the site while the foundation of the building was cast and workers were also seen on the site.

Speaking to the ABS, the Project Manager, Engineer George Hattab said that they are working very hard to complete the job before the December deadline.

 

Engineer Hattab said that they are happy to serve Ndi Anambra, promising to deliver a quality work that will stand the test of time, even as he appreciated Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the confidence he reposed in them and for striving to give people of the state the best.

On his part, the President General, Ekwulobia Town Union, Chief Azubuike Ezechukwu who expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work on the site said that the work is a signature project of the governor which he said will bring a lot of relief to the whole South East zone and Nigeria in general.

 

Chief Ezechukwu noted that the contractor is doing a quality job on the project, assuring the contractor of every assistance they will need to ensure prompt delivery of the job.
