Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh recently visited Igbedor one of the island communities of Olumbanasaa in Anambra West Local Government Area for assessment of the level of work done at the projects embarked upon by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

 

A boat ride on the River Niger from the Omambala river, for about thirty minutes, took Professor Chuma-Udeh and her team to Igbedor

 

Speaking to the community members gathered at the palace of the traditional ruler,

 

Igwe Pius Omachonu, Professor Chuma-Udeh stated that the visit was in line with Governor Soludo’s determination to ensure that education is taken to all nooks and cranny of the State.

 

In a remark, Igwe Omachonu who spoke through Chief Lawrence Nnacho, appreciated Governor Soludo for being the first Governor to visit Igbedor and initiated a number of projects thereby giving a sense of belonging to the Igala speaking community in Anambra State.
